After recording ”Welcome The Reaper” Lucy-Production decided to sign The Breeding to their booking company that has many promising bands like: Sparks Of Seven, Red Station and Phony Phokes. In addition to that, the song “Higher Level of Life” was featured on the compilation called “Power from the Blade” that was released in the end of 2001 by the American record company JCM Records. During autumn 2002, drummer Ulf Eriksson filled in as drummer for The Great Deceiver (feat. Tomas Lindberg ex At the Gates) (Peaceville Records) on their European tour with Napalm Death. They were so impressed by him so now he is an official drummer of The Breeding and also The Great Deceiver. The Breeding plays a form of old school Heavy Metal. There’s no doubt that they are inspired by bands like: Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Rage, Slayer and Testament. The Breeding is with their mix of Thrash Metal riffs, great melodies and an impressive vocalist a very promising band with potential to become one of Europe’s big metal bands. When they’re on stage you can expect powerful metal with great vocals, their own style and an enormous amount of energy that have taken big parts of Sweden with storm. |
